In this video I show how to use the Mailchimp ‘Combine Audiences’ tool to merge two of your Audiences. I also discuss advantages and disadvantages of this method as opposed to exporting your contacts to a CSV file and then importing those contacts into an Audience.
When combining Audiences you’ll choose a first Audience to merge and then select a second Audience where the contacts from the first Audience will be added. After combining you are free to delete the first Audience as your contacts will be in the second Audience.
Remember to backup your contact data before merging your Audiences and keep in mind that your Tags and Groups won’t transfer to your combined Audience.
Once your contacts are in a single audience then you can use the Preferences Center for subscribers to manage their own marketing preferences.
