Mailchimp have released their Automations replacement and it’s called Customer Journeys.
Customer Journeys are far more powerful than Automations; for example a contact can be tagged as an action (instead of having to send an email) and up to three starting points can be set to trigger the Journey.
Customer Journeys also have Rules which include ‘if/else’ statements (branching), ‘wait’ (pause the journey until, say, a tag is added) and ‘delay’which is the ability to delay the journey for a set amount of time.
In the video below I describe how Mailchimp Customer Journeys work. If you want to learn how to use Mailchimp Customer Journeys then join one of my classes.
