Many of my Mailchimp training attendees use Canva to create and edit images. That it is so simple to now connect Canva with Mailchimp is very useful; we can now save images directly from Canva straight into your Mailchimp content studio.
The short video below shows how to integrate Canva with Mailchimp and then how to save images from Canva into Mailchimp.

Hi I’m Gary from OrganicWeb and I’m a MailChimp expert. Today I’m going to show you how we can integrate Canva with Mailchimp so what we can do then is create our graphic designs in Canva and save them automatically into the content studio in Mailchimp. It’s really simple to do. Let me show you how. At the moment I’m in my Mailchimp content studio and as you can see I just have two files in there at the moment. So let’s go into Canva. I’m logged into Canva at the moment. What we’ll do is we’ll create a design very quickly.
Let’s create an email header for example. I’ll wait for Canva to load. I’ll choose a template, change it as I see fit. Now I want to save it to my Mailchimp content studio so what I do is I click the down arrow next to “download”. I click Mailchimp because I want to send it to Mailchimp. Because this is the very first time I’m doing this I need to connect to Mailchimp. In the future I won’t need to do this. So I click connect to MailChimp.
Now you probably won’t see the Mailchimp login screen pop-up but I very quickly enter my Mailchimp login details and we’ll see in a few seconds that now I’m connected to Mailchimp. So to save this design to our Mailchimp content studio I merely click “Save”. Again, in the future the connection details will be remembered by Canva so now that it’s saved to my content studio let me go to my Mailchimp content studio. I’ll just refresh to show you that the image is there and there it is straight from Canva into Mailchimp. Nice and simple.
Thanks for joining me.
