JPG is usually best when displaying photographs as images on Websites as JPG compresses photographs better than PNG or GIF. But what if we want to animate the images? GIF filetypes are quite simple to animate but image file-sizes can become large when trying to animate photographs (hence it’s seldom to see photographs animated as GIFs).
