I’ve been setting up ejunkie shopping carts for various WordPress Sites lately. The more I use ejunkie the more I love it and it really is a cost effective and simple Online Shopping Cart for many WordPress Websites (and non-WordPress Sites).
One problem I have experienced when adding the ejunkie ‘add to cart’ button is that a border appears around the button in many browsers. This is odd as the button code includes border=”0″ which, one would expect, would ‘remove’ the border from the button. Unfortunately, because of the cascading nature of CSS, the ‘higher’ element overrides the instruction in the button code.
Fortunately it is very simple to remove the button border by adding a few lines into your internal or external stylesheet or even by adding the elements inline. It is worth noting that adding the CSS as below will likely remove the border from all buttons when used in an internal or external stylesheet. Without further ado, here is the CSS (add to your active Theme style.css file if you are using WordPress):
border: none !important;
