Can anyone help? I can’t access Webpages on my mobile phone. The error message I get is:
This page contains the following errors:
error on line 2 at column 6: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.
The page is white/blank with no content besides the error message.
Details of my phone and cell/mobile provider:
• Samsung Galaxy S2
• All Internet Browsers (Chrome, Opera, Firefox …)
• Started about 4 days ago
• Problem only with mobile Internet including tethering (i.e. no problems on wi-fi)
• Virgin Mobile (Optus network)
I received a few messages/updates from Optus so this may be the cause (but really want to avoid having to deal with Virgin Mobile service as I need my sanity to remain). The messages stated:
From Optus: You will shortly receive handset settings for optus Data Services(s), pls save/activate these setting. Please contact Virgin Mobile for more details
Any assistance greatly appreciated 🙂
Update: I eventually bit the bullet and called Virgin Mobile Support. To my surprise the guy that helped was really good and he managed to resolve the problem. He walked me through adding a new Access Point called Virgin Internet and now all works fine.
