There are some seriously awesome new capabilities and functionality included in the soon to be released version of Google’s Android Operating System. The new version is version 4.1 and is called Jelly Bean. I can’t wait for the new app update functionality where only files that have been changed in the app are downloaded and updated and not the entire app; this means about a third less time to download and update apps as well as saving on bandwidth (if you, like me, are stuck with 2GB mobile data per month then the savings are very welcome).
Another new feature available in Jelly Bean is Google now. I’ve heard from people testing Jelly Bean and Google now (Jelly Bean hasn’t been officially released as yet) that Google now is very good! In line with testers findings here is a comparison between Apple’s Siri (the newest version that is yet to be released) and Google now.
